Absa handed my bond account for recovery in August 2011. I was only informed via SMS from the attorney themselves. My account is impeccable in that I have never missed a payment because I have a debit order in place. After querying with ABSA I was told that me being handed over was in error and that they would recall the account from the attorneys. this was done but then it was placed in the Legal recovery division of ABSA. Until today no explanation has been given to me. After numerous phone calls and emails my account has still not been sorted. I cannot institute a debit order or stop order because my acount is in recovery. i cannot make a payment into this account on my own. I need my account put back into the main stream so that i can then place a debit order and get this account paid in the usual manner. Every month I have to call ABSA and get someone from recoveries to do a transfer from my account into the bond account.. WHY IS MY ACCOUNT IN RECOVERY? WHY CAN I NOT MAKE A PAYMENT? WHY IS ABSA NOT CALLING ME INSTEAD OF ME CALLING THEM? JANE LOUWRENS IS UNFIT TO BE IN THE POSITION SHE'S IN. |

Received 5 calls from ABSA yesterday. Was shocked but pleasantly surprised. Calls from Solly Masingi & Railie Maree. Both of them must be commended for going the extra mile!!! I must state for the record though that the person that is responsible for the whole mix up and who handed my account over in error has still not had the courtesy of giving me a call. - JANE LOUWRENS. I have sent Jane's manager, Thea Willems, an email and am waiting to see if she responds!! i will give feeback! |
